orners of the Lviv Carpathians and are interested in the history of our land, preserved in stone.
The Urych Rocks, located in the Skole region, are one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine. There is no аналог of this natural and archaeological monument anywhere else in the mountain ranges of Europe. In the 11th–13th centuries, an ancient Rus fortress stood here, built to defend against Tatar-Mongol invaders. Today, you can still see the remains of its walls and structures, as well as caves carved into the rocks, wells, and underground passages. Rising up to 50 meters high, the Urych Rocks and the Tustan historical and landscape complex are part of the Skole Beskids National Nature Park, the largest in Ukraine.
During the tour, we will also visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls — Kamyanka Waterfall, located on the Kamyanka River.
Kamyanka Waterfall is a природна hydrological monument in the Ukrainian Carpathians, within the Skole Beskids massif. Not far from the waterfall lies a lake known as Dead Lake (also called Zhuravlyne Lake). Its waters are rich in hydrogen sulfide, which is why no living organisms are found there.
