Lviv University or officially the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv – is the oldest continuously operating university in Ukraine. The building was originally designed in 1877 and completed in 1881 for the Parliament (local self-government) of Halychyna. The monumental building is a harmonious combination of architecture and sculpture.
The Potocki Palace – this Neo-Renaissance architectural treasure belonged to the powerful Potocki family, one of Central Europe’s most influential clans.
The Bernardine Monastery (now the Greek Catholic Church of St. Andrew)- is an impressive monument in the Renaissance, Mannerism, and Baroque styles dating to1600-1630s.
Boim Chapel – “the stone Bible” , Constructed in the early 17th century, it has no analogues, neither in Ukraine nor in the rest of Europe.
Italian courtyard. Korniakt Palace is one of the most famous monuments of architecture of the Renaissance epoch in Lviv. Here you can visit the Italian Courtyard with three-stroyed open galleries which has been preserved nowadays.
